So first off, the location is in Ayala Center Cebu. The place was so nice. You will truly have a Teppanyaki experience. It has a Japanese Resto Style vibe in it. The atmosphere and decorations were interesting and anyone into Manga would probably appreciate the pictures painted on the wall.
Aside from the usual tables with chairs like you usually seen in a restaurant, Mismukuno Teppanyaki has a bar style table wherein they will cook your food in front of you. Sounds unique, right?
Now on to the food!
- Free Miso Soup- They served it hot. Honestly, I don’t like the smell. I only tried one sip just to satisfy my curiosity.
Take note: If you’re not a Japanese food lover and if you expect to taste it like sinigang, bulalo or etc, you wouldn’t like the taste of their Miso Soup.
- Chicken Teppanyaki
- Beef Teppanyaki
What made their chicken and beef unique? Definitely, the sauce! I savored every last bite of our meal. Sprouted beans are included in their Teppanyaki.
Don’t forget to order rice on the side if you want some since that does not come with the set meals we ordered and costs 50PHP for each cup.
We tried their Volcano Maki which is decent in taste and size. It was so good. They also have a variety of sushi that I will try next time.
Their menu is large and easy to read and had many choices to enjoy. The chef was entertaining that will make you imagine TV cooking live shows.
I was once told that the place looks pricey. I think it’s affordable, considering the quality of their dishes and the unique experience. Refer to menu above.
Overall, our dinner at Mismukuno Teppanyaki was a refreshing and entertaining experience. Don’t forget to stay long enough to watch their cooking dance performance!
